Here are some ideas that have already been suggested!
* Have a dinner plate engraved with your special love message or proposal. Arrange in advance for the restaurant to serve her meal on this special plate. When she is done eating.... your special message will "suddenly" appear!
* Have a large box delivered to her home or office. Have it so that the bottom open up and you can climb inside. Then when she comes and opens the box, jump out of the box with champagne, her favorite flowers, and the ring! Talk about POPPING the questions!
* Give her a gift. Have a large box gift wrapped. When she opens it, have another smaller box gift wrapped inside. Inside that one, another smaller box. DO so 4 or 5 times. Anticipation will build as she opens box after box and she eralizes the gift is getting smaller and smaller. Finally the smallest box will contacin the engagement ring and a "Will you marry me?" message.
* Take her on a treasure hunt! Have clues laid out all around the city that takes her to places of special importance to the two of you. Perhaps it will be where you first met, first kissed, or favorite restaurants that you have enjoyed together. Along with being a playful game it will serve as a trip down memory lane. At the end of the treasure hunt have it lead to you, where you are dressed up and have the ring in hand ready to pop the question. As a twist to this idea, you could also arrange that a special mode of transportation drive her to the locations for the clues, perhaps a limo or a horse drawn carriage!
* Take out an ad in the newspaper with a photo of you on one knee extending a ring to her. In large letters have "(name) Will you marry me?" printed for all to see. You could also do this with a commercial on tv. Just be sure she's going to say yes or you might get a lot of teasing!
* Create a webpage to do the perfect proposal! Give her a card that directs her to go to a specific webpage (you might even purchase a special domain just for her) Have the website tell the story of your relationship complete with pictures for a trip down memory lane. Explain why you fell in love, and what your plans for the future are. Then....in big and bold letter say "Will you marry me?"
* Visit a costume shop and rent a costume. Perhaps you want to be her "knight in shining armour" or a fireman to "rescue" her because she's so "hot" it's dangerous. You might be a doctor to make sure she'll be healthy and happy for the rest of her life. Have fun with it!
* Hire a "sky writer" to declare your love on the largest :canvas" in existence; the sky!
* Arrange to have your proposal flashed on the scoreboard during the intermission of your favorite sporting event!
* Rent a billboard that your partner is sure to pass on her way to work or on a trip out of town. You might say "(Name) I love you this much! Will you marry me?"
* Type a personal resume to apply for the position of husband/wife. State your objective clearly. List your personal qualities and attributes. List your education, which may include details you know about the person which others might not know. Also include your work experience listing previous dates and other occasions together.
